Jim’s office closed down for the week and we had planned on
a staycation. Even though Jim had to work a lot (surprise), but still had a
great week.
Day 1 (Monday) – Jim and I did a little shopping and went to
lunch while the kids were in school. In the evening, we had a movie night for the
kids and the neighbors’ kids and a little happy hours for the adults.
Day 2 (Tuesday) – We picked the kids up at school after
naptime and headed to Deep Eddy pool with the neighbors. Deep Eddy is the oldest swimming pool in Texas. The pool is fed with
clear, cold water from a hand-dug 35-foot (11 m) well, and is not
chlorinated. Water temperature varies between 65 to 75 °F (18-24 C).
