Emma and Julia turned 4 months on Saturday and we had their check-up on Thursday. Emma weighs 5.4kg (11.9lbs) and is 61.8cm (24.3 inches). Julia weighs 6.1kg (13.4lbs) and is 61.8cm. Mia weighted 6.6kg (14.6lbs) and was 67.3cm (26.5 inches) at 4 months.
Jen and Mia carved a pumpkin on Saturday morning. It turned out great, but Mia is a little afraid of it.

Emma likes to try chew on Julia’s had, but Julia doesn’t like it too much!
Mia had a fever on Friday, so we had to keep her home from daycare. She was still sick on Saturday, but on Sunday everyone was feeling good so we headed to the Dresden Zoo. This time the lion was very active and even roared several times, it was amazing. We also fed the camels (by throwing nuts at them).
Mia loves watching the animals at the zoo. She can walk like a penguin and jump like a kangaroo.

On Sunday evening we headed down to the Elbe River to try to catch the hot air balloons take off. We missed the actual take off but did see some up in the air. We didn’t miss the opportunity to enjoy some ice cream!
