The kids school was closed for a week at the end of August. Jim took vacation the whole week and took care of the kids. They went to the zoo, they went hiking, swimming and all kinds of fun stuff. One evening we went into Austin to look at the bats they fly out from South Congress Bridge every summer evening.
1.5 million Brazilian free-trailed bats fly out from the bridge and eat 20-30 thousand pounds of insects each night! It was amazing to see, we'll be back next summer!
