I finally took vacation the last day of the week when the school was closed and we drove down to Galveston on Thursday afternoon. The kids were great in the car and our hotel was across the street from the Pleasure Pier.
We rode the Ferris Wheel!
On Friday morning we hit the beach!
And on Friday afternoon we drove to Houston to visit Uncle Erik, Auntie Dell, Danny and Alex.
It was so great to see them. We had fun with the kids, played cards, and just spend time together.
On Saturday we went next door to Uncle Erik's brother and played.

Danny really likes to bake! On Sunday morning he baked cookies with the girls.
