Mormor & morfar went back to Sweden on September 23rd,
Jim also went to NY for the week and we decided it was time for Emma &
Julia to stop using their pacifiers – all on the same day! We had talked about the dentist saying that
it’s not good to use pacifiers and we “packed them” in mormor & morfar’s
suitcases for the babies in Sweden that don’t have any pacifiers. Monday night was difficult, especially for
Emma but since then, they don’t ask for the pacifiers anymore, they simply
shake their index finger at me when we brush their teeth and say “no naps!)
(pacifiers).
Julia might have expressed her frustration with life without pacifiers on the kitchen
wall inform of this artwork. When I asked who did it, Emma & Julia immediately
blamed each other. (I’m sure there is much more of that to come in the future.)
But Julia soon confessed and proudly showed me that she had also drawn on the
chair and the kitchen table!
After using 3 magic eraser sponge, half the piece of art was
still on the wall!
