January 20th marked our 1 year anniversary in Dresden. The time has gone by so fast! Emma & Julia are going to be 8 months tomorrow! Emma has 3 teeth and Julia has 2. They’re both sitting pretty well on their own now, but they still tip over every now and then. We’ve also introduced the zippy cup. Mia is getting more independent every day. She told me that she didn’t want me to sit by her at the kitchen table when she was eating the other day. She wanted to sit by herself and wanted me to sit on the floor by Emma & Julia. Mia is using more and more words (in all three languages), but she still uses a lot of hand gestures and there is still some guessing on my part. She calls Julia “JuJu”, but she still just calls Emma “baby”.
