We started out with a visit to the ER. Julia was climbing on a latter that Jim was using to put up a Christmas star. When Jim saw her, Julia knew she was in trouble and jumped down and hit the latter right by her eye.
She didn't need stitches, just glue.
After the ER, we had a birthday party for one of Mia's classmates.

I took the girls to the Nutcracker on Sunday afternoon. Mia and I went last year, but this year was the first time for Emma & Julia. They enjoyed it, but had a hard time sitting still that long. Emma actually fell asleep in my lap during the second act.
We went with our neighbors, the Kaplans, just like last year.
