We just got back from Tuscany, Italy late Saturday night. We
spent a week in a little village called Fosciandora. The house we rented, La
Collina del Sole was beautiful. Our friends from Sweden, Petra & Bjorn and their kids Oskar & Sofia were already there waiting for us when we arrived.

Mia loved hanging out with Sofia who is 6 and Oskar who is 4
We had great food thanks to Petra
Enjoing our wonderful lunch
Emma & Julia loved their baby pool.
You have to taste the wine before you buy it, even if it's 10 in the morning!
Pizza lunch in Castelnuovo Di Garfagnana, the closest town
Roasting Marshmallows
The kids were in the pool most of the time, but here they're taking a little break and having some drawing time.
We spent one day on the beach in Forte Dei Marmi
By the last day, Mia could swim from one end of the pool to
the other by herself (with floaties of course).
Our last night we had fantastic food catered by a lady that
has a farm in Fosciandora. Almost everything
was from her farm. She had made the
pasta that same day with eggs that her hens had laid that morning and the wild
boar was hunted on the mountain. It was a five course culinary experience for
sure! We had a great time with our
friends and the kids had so much fun!
