Jim didn’t have to work on Saturday morning as he normally does because of the annual Nazi demonstration in Dresden. There were police everywhere and a little bit scary as we got caught in part of it on the way home from IKEA on Saturday night. However, Mia and I enjoyed having Jim home for the entire weekend.
Mia got her first coloring page on Saturday, but we don’t have any crayons. We’ll try to find some this week.
Mia also tried to eat yogurt by herself.
We drove to a small town about 30 minutes outside Dresden called Meissen on Sunday. It has a beautiful cathedral and we walked around town for a little bit. It was cold and windy, so we found shelter at the first open café I could find.
Mia put together her first IKEA item today, she thought it was easy…she’s half Swedish after all.
